About Dr. Johnson

Dr. Luke Johnson graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1993.  Moved to South Carolina with his wife Jodi following graduation. Practiced as an Associate in Conway, South Carolina just outside of Myrtle Beach from 1993 to 1995.  

Moved back to the Midwest in 1995 to work for Forman Clinic of Chiropractic while Dr. Eric Forman was on a mission trip to Africa.  Upon Dr. Forman’s return, Dr. Johnson purchased the practice. Dr. Johnson has owned and operated the practice now know as L. Johnson Chiropractic from 1996 until the present.

Dr. Johnson and his wife Jodi are originally from Maquoketa Iowa.  The have 3 children; Kate born in 1994, Jakob born in 1997 and Emma born in 2002.

What Kind of Training Does Dr. Johnson Have?

Chiropractic doctors go through a minimum of four years of schooling at a chiropractic college, usually preceded by an undergraduate degree in the basic sciences or several years of experience in a relevant heath care field.

Students of chiropractic care must spend  minimum of 4,200 hours with their teacher, and a minimum of 1,000 hours of fully supervised clinical training with an instructor as they learn the appropriate diagnosis and treatment techniques to help heal your body and restore it to its natural, fully functioning state.
